About Us
After years of working in inpatient acute care, a recurrent challenge that we have faced in our roles has been lack of understanding and receptivity regarding the importance of good nutrition in both disease prevention and throughout the healing process. It is often even more difficult to align these principles with the evidence-based science of a whole-food plant-based diet due to limitations of hospital menus and tube feeding formula options. It has become clear to us that our value for the importance of good nutrition in clinically complex cases can be tough to support in the hospital setting. We felt compelled to offer a service to patients who desire wholesome nutrition and understand its vital role in illness prevention and health promotion.
We believe in evidence-based, ethical, individualized nutrition interventions and feel compelled to provide patients and families of all ages and backgrounds with more wholesome options for nutrition therapy.

Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition
Rebecca first fell in love with nutrition as a cross country runner during her freshman year of college and has been working as a dietitian since 2005. She did both her undergraduate and graduate work at Case Western Reserve University In Cleveland, Ohio and earned her Masters of Science in Public Health Nutrition with a specialty in Maternal and Child Nutrition in 2005. After working for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program for several years, she completed a three-month neonatal nutrition fellowship through Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2010. She worked in a large Houston NICU for a year before moving home to New England to pursue a position as a pediatric and NICU dietitian at an academic medical center in Boston. Following her time in Boston, she worked in several different positions, including a small community hospital in New Hampshire, a pediatric long-term care center and as an outpatient dietitian serving patients with a variety of health and nutrition concerns. She currently works as a clinical dietitian at a large teaching hospital in Maine, while working to build a private practice with her long-time colleague and good friend, Alexandra.
A life-long animal lover, Rebecca followed a vegetarian lifestyle for over 20 years before making the switch to a whole-foods, plant-based/vegan diet. She is passionate about health, nutrition, animals and the environment, which led to her desire to build a business that is in line with her values and would allow her to help others achieve their personal health goals.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys running, snowboarding, exploring and hiking with her dog, reading, gardening, pursuing numerous creative hobbies and trying out new vegan recipes.
